10/4 Raw Preview; Carmella's Raw Segment; Tax Rebates Attribute WWE Filming Overseas
Here is your 10/4 Raw preview, courtesy of wwe.com:
Monday Night RAW will come to you this week from the famed Madison Square Garden. As loyal WWE fans already know, any show at MSG seems to have a special feel to it. RAW should be no different.
A blockbuster bout has already been named for Monday’s RAW, as it will be the self proclaimed “Captain Charismo” Christian taking on future Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels in one-on-one action.
Also on RAW, Kane will be in the building. Also scheduled to be in the building this week on RAW is Gene Snitsky. What will happen when these two are under the same roof? Tune in to RAW to find out (9/8 CT on Spike TV).
Carmella's appearance on Raw during the Trish / Molly / Gail / Christy was a taped interview. WWE cued her clip as Trish finished speaking during the segment.
Variety has an article posted on the recent flood of films being made in the country of Australia. In the article, they mention WWE and their two movies being filmed overseas "The Marine" (filming underway) and "Eye Scream Man" (filming late 2004/early 2005).
They mention that the 12.5% tax rebate for big-budget films that shoot in Australia, persuaded WWE to film outside the US.
I can't wait for someone to critcize WWE for not generating US revenue by filming within the US, especially once the "Mick Foley / JBL Debate" takes place.
