After 6 Months Of Negotiations, WWE & MSG Reach Agreement For September 11 Return
Well it took six months but the deal is done. WWE and Madison Square Garden have come to an agreement for a return event.
The date? September 11, 2006.
If you read our two original articles from January below, we reported that WWE and MSG were working on a deal to bring wrestling back sometime between July and September. The 1/5/06 article gets into the problems that have kept WWE events away from the Garden for well over a year.
Tickets for the 9/11 event will go on sale July 8, 2006.
