Brock Lesnar Compared To Former Arizona Star; Jericho & Fozzy Head Northwest; Article On Costello Twins

For fans of Chris Jericho and FOZZY, they are heading Northwest. They will be performing on Monday September 13th in Seattle WA at Graceland.

The Star Tribune talked to Vikings Defensive Coordinator Ted Cottrell regarding Brock Lesnar. Cottrell compares Lesnar to former Defensive tackle Eric Swann, who worked with Cottrell while at the Arizona Cardinals.

When Swann made the Cardinals team, he had never played college football. "He was as green as grass and was a first-round pick," says Cottrell. "Everybody expected him to come in and play right away. That took a lot of patience and a lot of teaching. He ended up being a pretty good player. The learning was about the same."

Swann ended up making the Pro Bowl twice before retiring from football due to injuries.

Cottrell believes that Brock has the same chance to make it in the NFL and says Lesnar has made "fantastic progress".

"He went from a guy who couldn't even get in a stance correctly to holding his own out on the professional football field. That's a huge credit to him."

More as it develops.
