Butterbean KO's Sean O'Haire; TNA @ The World Series; John Cena 'The Marine' Drops To #10
Last night at the Pride event, Sean O'Haire was knocked out by Butterbean in less than a minute. Since O'Haire's career in MMA has not been a successful one, I would think a wrestling return should be in his future. But then again, I'm not telling you something you don't already know.
Week two for 'The Marine' starring WWE Champion John Cena is in. And as we predicted, See No Evil seems to have prevailed over the first 2 WWE film projects.
BoxOfficeMojo.com reports that The Marine dropped to #10 this week, grossing a miserable $3.75 Million at the boxoffice. What is interesting is that over 25 films had a bigger per screen average than The Marine this week which is not a good sign. The two week total is at $12.5 Million. With the $20+ Million in expenses to make the film, plus Millions in advertising, can you say Dud?
With TNA being in Detroit for tonight's PPV, several of their stars were at Game 1 of the 2006 World Series. Some who attended are Jeff Jarrett, Kevin Nash, Mike Tenay, and Kip James just to name a few.
