Christy Hemme Website Announces Divas Win Before Raw Segment Occurs; 9/27 Raw Preview
Even though 3e6r.net reported over 2 months about how ingenuine WWE made the divas contest appear to fans, I am happy that Christy Hemme won. As I wrote analyzing Christy & Carmella well over a month ago, she seemed not only fully dedicated to win, but she was one of the very few contestants fans could identify her as a WWE Diva (and not Playboy Playmate, Actress, Beauty Contest Winner, etc.)
However, just to put a final fork in how WWE mislead fans with this contest, here's one more for you.
I received a flurry of emails between last night and this morning regarding this statement which was issued Monday night on Christy Hemme's website, www.christyhemme.com. As you will read, there's nothing wrong with the statement. The problem? This statement showed up on her website well before the Divas segment ever aired on TV, when she was announced the winner.
One quick comment. I want to thank everyone who has complimented us for the whole "Christy / Carmella" story we've compiled the last two months. Even though many are not thrilled with WWE with this contest, from fans, to contestants, to even wrestlers, one point I want to make. Even though WWE mislead fans how the contest was handled, Christy Hemme's pursuit to win was genuine. Therefore whatever she does in WWE, judge it on her ability and looks, and not the contest.
Here's her statement.

Christy, the $250,000 winner of the WWE Diva Search,
and if you can't tell by watching the show I am extremely excited to be a part of the WWE. For me this was not a contest, its a chance to be part of a wonderful family. I couldn't be more proud to help represent such a great company. I want everyone to know that I'm going to put 100% into this effort. I feel like all the work I have done before, has been my preparation for this show. I have always wanted to do it, and the opportunity couldn't have come at a better time in my life. I can promise you all one thing: I'll always be entertaining. I'll see you on Mondays as long as you'll have me! Sincerely, Christy Hemme."
