Clearing Up Lashley vs Undertaker @ Wrestlemania Assertion Made By Joey Styles During ECW
Just to clarify something that I know a majority of you already understand and have brushed off. However I did received several emails from fans taking Joey Styles' comment on ECW last night seriously.
ECW closed out their TV episode last night with Undertaker and Lashley staring at each other, just as he did on Raw with Cena.
Joey Styles, instead of making the comment sound like a question leaving us hanging, he made the assertion that Undertaker would be facing Lashley at Wrestlemania. Believe it or not, several fans took the statement as fact and started 'venting' about it. One person who I feel bad for especially, must have spent an hour writing an email I received based on the Styles comment that Undertaker will be facing Lashley at Mania.
Without spoiling it outright for some, let me just word it this way. Joey Styles should have left you hanging and tease the possibility of a Lashley / Taker match. Not the assertion he made. With that said, I would sit back and watch TV the next week and you will find that the answer will conflict with what was said on ECW.
Again I know some out there will find this article ridiculous because we already know what is going down at Wrestlemania. However I just felt bad for some that took Styles' comment seriously. And I felt bad for the ones that wrote these long essays based on those same comments.
