Column: WWE Mocks The Undertaker, "Dead Gimmick Walking"
You just have to think this creation is from WWE's new "Hollywood" editions to their staff. Whomever thinks WWE gimmicks turned Wacky Packages is a good idea should just watch the criticism to come, especially when WWE wants to suspend disbelief of The Undertaker as a Deadman.
For $20, WWE has listed these two parody items on Shopzone. One of "Preparation HHH", the other is this fine parody:
I can't help it. I just think back how I laughed at Undertaker's goofy hat when he first returned as the Deadman and now this. For some reason, I compare this to how Goldberg's character was demeaned when they made him wear a wig. WWE wants fans to take the Deadman gimmick seriously but they are mocking him as UnderQuaker?
Maybe Undertaker should have buried Paul Bearer in oatmeal instead of cement. Paul Bearer could have eaten his way out of the attempted murder fiasco and saved the angle with a laugh.
Recently at SummerSlam, Undertaker was upset when fans gave him the finger during his match with John Bradshaw Layfield.
Now I can't wait until he brawls outside the ring, eyes rolled back, tongue perversely sticking out, methodically stalking Bradshaw...and a row of fans wearing UnderQuaker T-Shirts, waving Quaker Oats boxes then give him the finger.
Thanks for reading.
