Here is your WWE.com Smackdown Preview:

Unfortunatley for Stephanie McMahon, her loss to Mr. McMahon last Sunday at No Mercy has resulted in her being forced out as SmackDown! General Manager. That being said, everybody is wondering just who will fill Stephanie's spot? Many names are circulating already, including Sable. Will Mr. McMahon award the job to the woman he is so close to already? Find out on SmackDown! this Thursday.

Also, it has been announced that the Self-Proclaimed World's Greatest Tag Team will get another shot at the WWE Tag Team Championship when they face off against Los Guerreros. Can Benjamin and Haas sit atop the tag team mountain once again?

For all this and more, tune into SmackDown!, 8/7 CT on UPN.

WWE is going to have a "Legends Edition" of Byte This. Scheduled this Thursday, will be Fabulous Moolah, Sgt. Slaughter and Nikolai Volkoff. It is possible that more legends will be appearing.

Thanks to Mike Tomson, 3e6r.net reader for this report:

It looks like even the WWE magazines are becoming brand-specific now. When I got my latest issue of the WWE Magazine in my mailbox, there was a notice attached to the cover saying:

"Effective immediately, WWE Magazine will be renamed WWE Smackdown! Magazine and will have content exclusively covering out Smackdown! program. WWE Smackdown! Magazine will be the official publication of out Smackdown! television show and roster, complete with in-depth articles, a behind-the-scenes look at the Smackdown! storylines and Superstars, and new exciting pictorials."

With the WWE Magazine turning into a Smackdown-Brand only publication, I'm going to guess that the WWE Raw magazine will now only feature articles, behind-the-scenes looks, and new pictorials from the Raw-Brand and it's superstars.

On wwe.com the "video of the day" segment is the video tribute to Stu Hart from Raw. WWE hasn't aired a video tribute to Hawk yet. However, on WWE.com, you can view a photo gallery tribute to Hawk.

Thanks for reading.
