Dave Taylor Injured; Francine Comments On Release; WWE Tryouts (NJ); Smackdown Rating
WWE posted this unfortunate news regarding Dave Taylor's injury at the Smackdown tapings:
During Tuesday night’s SmackDown taping in St. Louis, SmackDown newcomer Dave Taylor suffered a torn meniscus in his left knee. The injury, classified by WWE Dr. Ferdinand Rios as a severe bucket tear of the posterior lateral meniscus, was suffered during a Tag Team Match.
Taylor, who came to SmackDown in mid-October as an associate of William Regal, will have surgery on Friday to repair the injury. There is no word yet on how long he will be out of action.
Speaking of Smackdown, Friday's rating (10/20) scored a 2.3.
Francine posted the following comments on her MYSPACE page regarding her release from ECW / WWE:
