Anthony 'Don Tony' DeBlasi does this report solo. This is an absolute must download. There are so many confronting questions made towards WWE, attorneys, even the newscasts and their choice of questions. If you thought my accusation that WWE made a deal with Larry King to play 'softball' with the interviews, wait until you hear what John Cena said Tuesday night about Testosterone on LKL.
Good PR WWE. Instead of removing and banning any Chris Benoit items from being sold, here's what you should have done: Not push the items, but announce that any profits from the Benoit DVD's, shirts, and figures would go to foundations for battered women and children. But nah that's too difficult for them to realize. Great PR and they actually fund and help others that could be saved.
WWE Raw rating down to 3.4, ECW down to 1.3. We discuss why this is something WWE has to be quite nervous about. WWE can elminate the effect of Benoit on WWE.com. But WWE can't eliminate the effect on viewership decline.
Comparing WWE's handling of Chris Benoit to a scene from Goodfellas.
The supposed WWE meeting that Vince McMahon telling the roster to 'get off the drugs'. And if it really happened, why many WWE stars would laugh at him behind his back. Think we're trying to be funny about this, think again.
More on the Johnny Grunge situation and the surprising feedback on our rant towards his widow.
Comparing Chris Benoit to Wyoming sniper David Munis (killed wife while performing) then committed suicide this week.
Johnny Nitro now calls himself John Morrison. LOL are we supposed to take him more serious then? Does that make the character more manly? Thank God he's only featured on the 1.3 rated show.
Interesting how neither Vince nor Linda McMahon are appearing on any newscasts. However sending WWE wrestlers instead as attempts of 'damage control' is hurting WWE 1000x more. And it isn't going to avoid them from being sued in the near future as well.
Taking a close look at the Toxicology Reports and discuss the alcohol, xanex, and norco factor. Even at theraputic levels, mix those pills with alcohol and see what happens.
Gotta love Dave Meltzer confronting Dr Pill's attorney and Jerry McDipsh** on the same show. It's so refreshing to see someone have the ba**s and land some hardnose questions, Larry King, Dan Abrams, and Nancy Grace wouldn't dare ask.
We compare the WWE Wellness Program to Alcoholics Anonymous, Betty Ford, and other clinics. And you will realize quickly why the Wellness Program really is a joke. It looks good on paper, but looking closer, you'll understand why we are now sh**ing on it.
Discussing the injury to Edge, Khali winning the Smackdown title, and how short his reign will likely be and why.
Imagine someone like Chris Masters the night after a Wellness Test. He knows he wont be tested again for a while. Betcha that night after the test his ass looks like Pinhead.
Plus we speak on this ridiculous ABC series coming featuring Obese fat people competing to lose weight. And yes there is a wrestling element in it. Rosey (remember Super Hippo In Training) is going to be on the show.
Thoughts on the TNA PPV, the possibility of XXX reforming and feuding with LAX, the Samoa Joe / Kurt Angle feud and much more.
We also pay tribute to former ECW Tag Team Champion John Kronus who died earlier today.
There is so much more discussed. You'll have to tune in to find out since it is quite late as I write this preview and my mind is drawing blanks right now.
Plus an awesome selection of chatroom questions answered.
We also discuss quite a bit of TNA and WWE discussion. Not to mention answering a huge amount of quality listener questions, emails, and more.
There's a reason why The Minority Report Webcast is the #1 wrestling webcast on the net. Tune in and enjoy the ride.
