Although not life threatening, keep Prime Time Wrestling promoter Joe "Gunns" in your prayers. Early Sunday, he was involved in a serious auto accident that has him currently in a Staten Island Hospital. The show scheduled for today is cancelled due to the accident. However, anyone that had already purchased tickets will be honored at their next show August 31st.
Thank you to all that emailed us for the extensive report we wrote on the obscenity charges against XPW owner Rob Zicari (aka Rob Black) and Janet Romano (aka Lizzy Borden). How ironic was my statement the night of Feb 14th in Phiily when I stated that it was the beginning of the end of XPW. The way they cancelled the 2/15 show was pathetic. Myself being at ringside, wasnt told of the cancellation until 11:30PM that night. Imagine how I felt stuck in Philly at midnight, knowing I had 58 people the next morning going to the location for the XPW bus trip 2/15. Putting one certain piece of shit aside in the organization, everyone there was great to be around. As far as XPW talent, the ones I wish the best more than anyone, is Kaos, GQ Money "Smiley", Vic Grimes, Angel, and Pogo The Clown. They all were not only entertaining in the ring, but the best behind the scenes. These guys would be perfect fits in some of the NY promotions here. If I have a hand in it, they will be working out east.

Everyone that emailed me said this show was excellent. Noone complained of Yuriel's Rave music this time around!
CZW had their show Sat night at the ECW arena. The crowd was a huge disappointing 250. Some mentioned that Springsteen was in concert in Philly Sat night. I honestly do not believe that the 14-23 demographic CZW mainly attracts, went to Springsteen instead.

Mike Johnson at www.1wrestling.com brought up some real good points regarding CZW's "Booking". He says that " I think the promotion would be better served with some closer attention to booking detail. Johnny Kashmere holds a full nelson on Simply Luscious for minutes while others try to pry him off but she shows no ill effects whatsoever latter in the night? Nick Gage is hit with a Michinoku Driver off the top stage of the Arena through two tables, but is able to leave under his own power? With a little find tuning on the attention to detail, CZW would take another enormous step forward..." Well said Mike.
