Eric Bischoff @ Raw; WWE Releases Two Developmental Stars; Joanie Laurer News; USA Network Passes On Ebaum's World; 10/9 Raw Special   Reports going around is that Eric Bischoff is backstage at tonight's Raw. Will he make his television return as the GM for Raw? Tune in tonight to find out. Back on January 27, we reported that USA Network was considering the creation of a show based on the Ebaum's World website. Chris Jericho was supposed to be a part of this new series. And as we mentioned back in January, it was a big 'if' that the pilot would make it to TV. Today, USA Network has decided to pull the plug on the project. Even though there are no news articles mentioning the following, I will tell everyone not to write the pilot off just yet. Expect another network to pick it up. I've heard the pilot wasn't that bad, and can definitely generate some interest amongst certain demographics. I can see the show airing on Comedy Central or Spike TV. More as it develops. Joanie Laurer recently spoke with contactmusic.com about Anna Nicole Smith. Laurer noted she fears Anna might do something drastic in lue of her son's death. CLICK HERE to read the interview. Some additional Joanie Laurer tidbits. "Just Another Romantic Wrestling Comedy" featuring Joanie will be coming out on DVD around Thanksgiving. "Surreal Life Fame Games" debuts October 21, 2006 on VH1. "Cougar Club" is looking at a February 2007 release to the box office. WWE has released Kevin Matthews and the Inferno Kid from their developmental deals. WWE will air a three hour edition of Raw Monday 10/9. WWE's official hype is playing on the 1 year anniversary back on the USA Network. In reality though, it's to combat Spike TV's Ultimate Fighting airing the same night.
