Glen Gilberti Update: Remains In Jail, Drug Possession Added; Rehearsed Comments, More

Here's the latest on Glen 'Disco Inferno' Gilberti, as of last night.

We can confirm that Glen Gilberti remains in Fulton County Jail in GA on two counts. One is a felony charge of Commercial Gambling, the other we learned was for Possession Of  A Controlled Substance. I have read from several sources that the substance was cocaine.

Ironically, his bail was set at $10,000, the same figure that surfaced as the amount players paid to play this game.

We need to keep in mind that when people play or run illegal gambling, they make sure to go over and over and over and over what to say if they were ever busted. I used to play a few games a local coffee shop and I can tell you first hand, the people involved were prepared what to say. I guarantee that many people reading who have played in this enviornment will atest to that. The claims from so many arrested that they claimed 'didn't have that kind of money' and it was a 'friendly game', are definitely rehearsed comments.

If Gilberti can make bail, he could be released today. There are claims that if released, he will be able to travel abroad. Since he is still in jail, I can tell you with 100% certainty. There is no way anyone can make a claim while someone is still incarcerated. Only the court makes that determination. I was surprised the bail was set at such a small amount of $10,000.

Alot of people are asking us to get a mugshot of the former WCW and TNA star. We are working on it.

More on this story when pertinent information develops.
