WWE Tidbits: Goldberg UnInvited, Angle & Rocky Released, Gayda Next?, Smackdown's New Theme & Non-Spoiler Preview, Dr Death Returning?

By now, you heard about the Ric Flair celebration that took place in the ring after Raw. Interesting to note that Goldberg was not in the ring with the rest of the crew.

In addition to this, we learned that as of now, Goldberg will not be part of the upcoming WWE tour of Australia. This leads to our original report of Goldberg having a WWE contract with a lower number of appearances monthly. If you remember, Goldberg originally was willing to commit to a full time contract provided he had a month off per year. WWE didnt go for this idea, and choose to negotiate less dates per month. Unless WWE is willing to keep him off mainstream TV 1 or 2 shows in the next 2 months, he will miss the Aussie tour. Shame for WWE fans down under, smart for WWE though. If the show sells out, they saved using some of his guaranteed appearance dates.

Many who saw Dr Death Steve Williams' appearance for MLW in NYC watched some great in ring work. He has lost some weight, and his in ring work has been excellent. The WWE may have noticed this as well. Since it has been quite a few years since his disaster in the Brawl For It All, WWE may bring him back.

He is booked to work some Raw Brand House Shows this week. His opponent will be Lance Storm. It should be interesting to see how he does, and if Jim Ross is brought into the angle....if it works out. The Raw brand is going to be in Louisiana, and Alabama; states where he would be better recognized with the crowd.

Last month we reported that Eric Angle, brother of Kurt, boyfriend of Nidia, was released shortly after his appearance on Smackdown. Word going around, is that even though he was released from WWE, Angle may still work for OVW.

Another person who is off the WWE payroll is Rocky Johnson, father of The Rock. If you recall, he was hired a few months back to be a trainer for the WWE. Apparantly, this did not work out, and both have mutually departed ways. This release of Rocky Johnson has no bearing on the future of The Rock and the WWE.

Marlyn Manson is history. This week's Smackdown show will debut a new opening video package and music.

We have heard a real bad copy of the theme. However, is sounds decent. It is more of a hip/hop rap type, similar to the Kid Rock style.

Team Angle relinquished the WWE Tag Team Championship at Judgment Day in a huge upset. The brutal Ladder Match saw Eddie Guerrero and his last-minute partner Tajiri run off with the titles. Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin are itching to prove that Sunday's loss was a mere fluke. They'll get a rematch against Eddie and Tajiri this Thursday night on SmackDown!

Mr. America got his first win Sunday at Judgment Day, and Mr. McMahon must be more furious than ever. Hogan has found an unlikely ally in a young, one-legged fan named Zack. Will Mr. McMahon and Rowdy Roddy Piper came after the two full-force? Find out on SmackDown!

In a battle between Playboy covergirls at Judgment Day, Torrie Wilson triumphed over Sable and made sure there were no hard feelings by slapping a kiss on her rival's lips. But how does Sable actually feel about the whole situation? Tune in to SmackDown! to find out.

Also on SmackDown!, Chris Benoit will take on Cruiserweight Champion Matt Hardy, Brock Lesnar faces an unnamed member of the FBI, and upstart rapper Spanky will step up against SmackDown!'s freestlyin' master John Cena.

It's all on SmackDown! at 8/7 CT this Thursday on UPN!

- Are you the next Jackie Gayda? That is the selling point the WWE is using with their new "Divas Search". It is funny how many emails I am receiving from Pissed Off "Diva Wannabe's" about WWE misleading information. If you win, you will not be the next Jackie Gayda. This is NOT for a WWE contract ladies. The winner gets a 4 hour photo shoot with a WWE photographer. That is it. No wrestling ability is needed. With that said, we bring in Jackie Gayda to the mix.

We are hearing that unless Jackie Gayda's wrestling related ability drastically improves quick, she will be released. If that's the case, then the WWE may not be misleading interested contestants....Are you the next Jackie Gayda? An attractive female with no wrestling ability, only used for photographic reasons and released.

Again, for anyone that wants to participate, winning this is a nice item to be able to place on your resume. Just remember, that they are not offering a contract in this contest. So please keep that in mind when entering, and remember what you actually win.
