ICW (NY) Shuts Down Promotion; Details Inside, Plus My View On The Matter
ICW has closed its doors once again. Below is their announcement. For those interested, I spent about 10 minutes on the hotline about this. If you are interested in their closing, I strongly suggest you call the line (718-303-4444). The call is free within NY. However, toll charges may apply if you are outside NY.
"This is very hard for me to do, but after evaluating my situation, I have come to a conclusion. I am shutting down the doors of ICW. We had a very good show the last time out and I want to leave the business of wrestling on somewhat of a high note. This website (icwzone.com) will remain open. We are still in the wrestling videos business very much, actually we are going to concentrate on making more videos and shoot interviews. This website will solely be for videos. The name of the website (icwzone.com) will remain the same. But ICW (the fed) is over. I want to thank all the fans for making ICW possible and also thanks goes to Harry Slash, El Shoes, Frank Goodman and all the workers who have helped and believed in ICW. It was an up & down 3 years, but now I can finally say this is the best decision for me. We are having a blowout sale on all wrestling action figures in our Bayside store. All action figures are 25% off. We still have tons of videos and icwzone.com will be updated daily with new videos and shoot interviews. Watch for The Best of ICW DVD Vol. 1 to be out soon. Funny. 2 guys named Slash. One from XPW, one from ICW. Both failures in this business. Both shut down shows and screwed fans. Both ripped off people for money. Both would rather buy Music CD's than soap. And after they fail at the business, they release "Best Of"'s for their feds. Stick to your music, your drugs, and filth. Maybe one day when you both clean up your acts, maybe Ill give you a job.
