Jim Ross Comments On Kurt Angle; ECW & Smackdown To Invade Raw; Danny Bashem Injured; TNA Impact & SD Ratings; WWE / Lycos Top 10
Jim Ross gets his fair share of ripping on this website and webcast especially. However, amidst our fears he wouldn't, he said the right thing towards Kurt Angle signing with TNA. I will tell everyone though to remain skeptical. Once Angle's success in TNA intensifies, I'm sure Good Ole JR will change his tune as quick as he can down a few BBQ burgers.
Here's his comments on Kurt Angle:
What is the over/under on how long Kurt Angle stays in TNA? I think the world of Kurt and hope he gets totally healthy much sooner than later. Perhaps being a part of TNA will work for Kurt as it relates to travel and in ring demands. I do think this genre is much better suited for Angle than mixed martial arts, UFC, etc. I wish Kurt well on his new opportunity and that is true, damn true.

The CW Network premiere of WWE Smackdown scored a very disappointing 2.4 rating.

Dave Meltzer reports in his most recent Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Danny Bashem is out with a serious torn bicep injury.
Bashem had been working with as one of Paul Heyman's security guards on ECW. He could be out of action for 5-8 months because of the injury.
WWE issued the following announcement regarding the 3 Hour Raw scheduled for 10/9. It's a small article, but I figured you'd want to check it out. Especially since members of ECW and Smackdown will also be a part of the show. Here's the announcement:
