Jim Ross' Ignorantly Rips Minority Report Webcast; Smackdown Rating; Ashley / Survivor

Smackdown only scored a 2.4 rating, despite the week long hype of the 'Mr McMahon' storyline. My opinion, the only reason why ECW scored a bit higher, was due to fans that didn't catch the 'explosion' Monday night, tuned in Tuesday to see it. By Friday, anyone that wanted to see it, already saw it and didn't have any interest in the episode of its content.
Thank you to everyone who messaged me on the following. In a recent blog Jim Ross posted last week, he had some choice words about a recent installment of our Minority Report Webcast. Unfortunately for Jim Ross, we always come prepared when we make certain comments and 'tongue and cheek' humor during our shows.
He referenced our 5/21/2007 episode of The Minority Report webcast, where we made a comment about Mary Jo Buttafuoco and Jim Ross. He writes the following in his blog:
Believe what you choose to believe when it comes to the wrestling internet sites. Naturally sometimes they are right on the money and sometimes they are ridiculously wrong. These site folks know that controversy does indeed create cash and sensational journalism is in style these days. If not, how in the hell does one explain the endless coverage of Paris Hilton?? My issues concern rumors that are reported as fact, especially rumors that can be personally hurtful to people and their families. A friend of mine commented me a link to a wrestling site recently where someone had written, perhaps in the spirit of “entertainment,” that “J.R. should start dating Mary Jo Buttafuco” making a smart ass statement eluding to my Bells palsy and that woman’s facial condition after being shot in the face by her ex-husband’s trashy, young girlfriend. I have read stuff like this before and while it doesn’t cause me to lose sleep at this stage of the game, it does P.O. me from time to time, which I know isn’t healthy, but we are all human. Point being is that if someone has to use another person’s illness as a source of entertainment for their site, it is a sad state of affairs in the gossip mongering world in which we live.
Tonight during our webcast, I will address Jim Ross' comments above. I almost feel bad that we have to expose one major problem with his comments. I am very curious to hear any possible comeback that will disagree what we note tonight. Point is, he will have none.
It appears Ashley will spend more than 'One Night In China'. TMZ reported the following over the weekend she will appear on the next season of CBS' 'Survivor': China.
