Jimmy Garvin Quits WWE; Celebrity Interraction @ Raw, SD Taping; Steve Austin / Cyber Sunday; PPV Press Conference; Lance Storm Q&A; Geeks Rank Wrestling's All Time Best
Dave Meltzer and The Wrestling Observer reports that Jimmy Garvin has already quit WWE. You may recall that Garvin was brought in last weekend as part of the creative team. He quit this past Friday.
WWE will be hold a Press Conference on October 30th for the Cyber Sunday PPV. Announced so far to appear are Edge, Randy Orton, Booker T, John Cena, Big Show, Ric Flair, and The Coach.
Lance Storm has updated his latest Q&A which I highly recommend reading.

A certain pwspyware geek poked fun at WWE touting some celebrities at the Raw / Smackdown supershow Sunday. However several mainstream media and entertainment outlets picked up on the appearances. Some who were in attendance were Steve O and Chris Pontius of Jackass, Kevin Federline, Three 6 Mafia, ZZ Top, Aaron & Nick Carter.
MTV and the USA Network made a big deal about Federline's interraction with John Cena. We'll see if the added publicity leads to any ratings surge.
Steve Austin was also present at the tapings, but didn't appear on camera. Since Austin does live in the Los Angeles area, he was there visiting friends and talking some business with WWE Management. There's some speculation about Austin being part of the Cyber Sunday PPV in an enforcer role. Take it only as speculation at this time.
Finally, it should be interesting to see how Umaga's interraction with Steve O (Jackass) on Raw. Several fan accounts at the show thought Umaga was being very 'stiff' on Steve. Dave Meltzer reports today that this in fact was true, due to Steve O no selling Umaga. In fact at one point, Steve O was seen laughing following a move performed by Umaga.
We'll definitely poke fun at this Jackass (Steve O) tonight during the webcast.
Finally I'll leave you with this. One in a while I get a chuckle at journalists ranking their 'All Time' wrestlers list. Whenever I'm asked that question, I always state that wrestlers from the 50's should not be compared to wrestlers of the 80's. And wrestlers of the 70's should not be compared to wrestlers of today. All time wrestlers should be divided into generations. Just my opinion.
Well that leads me to this 'All Time' list I was emailed. This one is from the Galesburg Register-Mail out of Illinois. I understand everyone has a right to their opinion. But I just chuckled when I read five 'sports journalists' come up with what they felt is the top 5 wrestlers of all time. Not to mention their explanations behind each choice.
