From 3e6r.net Latest News Headlines Thanks to Mike Lowenstein for these results: RAW opens up with a video package of Kane and his attacks since being unmasked. Interesting enough, we saw the very same package again at the end of Raw. We immediately go to Chris Jericho's "Highlight Reel": Jericho says he wants to start this show tonight because enough is enough. “Something has to be done and it’s going to be done tonight. RAW has broken down into total chaos. Grown men are terrified to go into their locker rooms, and even me the toughest man in the WWE was scared to come here tonight until I heard from the man who can return order, my close personal friend, Eric Bischoff. I now how difficult it is for you to be down here tonight after being brutally chokeslammed by Kane and listening to people call you names. I want to know how you feel.” Eric, “I’m getting better, thank you. The Drs. wanted me take 8 weeks off to let this heal properly. But there was no way I could stand by and let SCSA run this show into the ground. I watched what happened last week and I had no choice but to order Kane not to show up here tonight but we have arranged a one on one interview with Kane and Jim Ross. Kane is out of control. He almost killed me; we saw what he did to Rico, Tommy Dreamer. But there’s more that you didn’t see, last week of what he did to RVD. I want to show the footage.” We see Kane pacing in the hallway and RVD approach him about going out there, Kane grabs him by the neck and throws RVD through a wall. Jericho, “nobody is safe in this company any more, Kane is crazy, who knows what he might do; he could stop me….nothing is going to stop me from getting revenge on Shawn in Hollywood.” SCSA interrupts them, “Shut up jackass, what do you think you’re doing? You didn’t talk to me about JR interviewing Kane. I was going to deal with Kane face to face in this ring.” They go back and forth. Eric tells Austin this is on his head; he’s the one that talked him into being a monster again. Austin says he was going to kick a man’s ass and since Kane’s not here Eric looks like the perfect victim. Austin tells Eric he’s not worth it; he’s pathetic and walks away. Jericho tells Austin to keep walking because no one wants him here and he’s in way over his head. He tells Austin he’s a failure. Since he’s ruined Kane’s life why doesn’t he just get the hell out of here? Austin stuns Jericho. Trish Stratus, Kevin Nash (poor Big Sexy, this is terrible, stuck in a program with Test. I feel your pain Nash.), & Scott Steiner w/Stacy vs. Test, Steven Richards & Victoria. When Nash gets tagged in Test takes off and Steven Richards gets the jackknife powerbomb for the win. In the GM office Eric and Jericho are fussing with each other about Austin. Jericho goes on and about the management putting their hands on the superstars. We see the crew preparing for the Kane/JR interview. Lane Storm is in the ring to read a prepared statement, “if you the wrestling public continue to chant boring before, during or after my matches I will be forced to seek legal action against you…” he’s cut off by Maven coming to the ring. Maven pins Storm. La Resistance, “we are out here tonight to celebrate for two reasons. First, Eric is back on RAW. SCSA kept La Resistance off TV last week. Second, it is Bastille Day. Now we’re going to sing the French national anthem.” We go to commercial and come back to them still singing. The Dudley’s come out to stop them and give one of the French team the 3D. Spike brings the American flag in the ring. Bubba Ray, “no one wanted to hear a song like that that song sucks. Get on your feet and sing Star Spangled Banner.” The Dudley’s & Spike vs. Ric Flair, Randy Orton & Triple H. First man eliminated is Spike Dudley. D-von is next. Randy Orton pins Bubba Ray thanks to Triple H’s pedigree behind the refs back. Evolution wins the elimination match. Eric is in the GM office and RVD comes in. Eric tells him he didn’t expect to see him here tonight after what Kane did to him last week. RVD wants Kane in the middle of that ring. Eric tells him next week it will be RVD vs. Kane. Eric says Austin has turned Kane into a maniac. RVD says Austin didn’t start this, he did and next week he’ll be the one to finish it. Jericho is in the locker room trying to get superstars to sign a petition about Austin’s negligence as the co-general manager of RAW. He says he’s going to fax it to Linda McMahon and it demands the immediate resignation of Steve Austin. Rodney Mack w/T. Long. Teddy takes the mic and says a bunch of garbage (he drives me crazy, I try not to listen) and in the end tries to get a “Hell No, Stone Cold,” chant going with audience. After the commercial Rosey comes to the ring. Mack pins Rosey w/help from T. Long. Hurricane’s music hits and when the lights come back on he’s on the turnbuckle behind Mack and hits him with a drop kick. In the back Jericho is trying to get Evolution to sign his petition. Triple H agrees it would be much easier w/o Austin and takes the petition. Booker T vs. Christian for the IC title. Christian gives Booker his finishing move after the ref gets knocked out of the ring; he has Booker pinned until a new ref runs in the ring then he kicks out. Christian pins Booker by holding the ropes and is declared the winner until the other ref gets involved. The refs start arguing and Austin brings a new ref out to finish the match. This time Booker pins Christian. Christian starts beating on the ref until Austin comes to the rescue with a stunner. In the GM office Eric says Austin just the nail in his own coffin. Linda calls Eric on his cell phone. JR is ready to interview Kane who comes in with a big red box which is gift wrapped. Kane hands the box to JR and sits down. Gail Kim defeats Molly Holly to retain the Women’s title. Kane wants JR to open the package. It’s a can of gasoline. Kane tells JR if he makes fun of him one time during the interview he will set JR on fire. JR: I want to assure you that I’m not here to make fun of you. I think you’re one of the most extraordinary (performers on the roster?). Footage is shown from all the Austin/Kane confrontations. JR: What’s you’re reaction to seeing that footage again? Kane: Anger, hatred. I was a normal child until a fire turned me into a hideous monster. RVD and Austin told me to show that monster to the world. They’re supposed to be my friend. JR: You wear that towel on your head but the few times we’ve seen you, you don’t appear to be scarred in any way. Kane: The doctors used to tell me the burn marks were superficial. The ones who told me to go see a shrink so I had to hurt them. JR: Kane are you saying that after all these years… Kane: Never had a chance to lead a normal life. Look at me. (He rips the towel off his head). JR: All I see is a man who needs help. Just say I am who I am. I’m not going to let some insensitive people ruin my life. The fans support you and don’t give a damn what you look like. Kane: You really think so? (JR nods). The people are liars. I know as soon as I walk out of here you’re going to laugh your ass off at me. I warned you not to make fun of me. Austin comes to the ring. “Let me tell you something, you son of a bitch. Sit down.” Kane, “you want to help me, you want to know why I do the things I do. The only way you can know is to experience them yourself.” He throws JR and picks up the gas can. While he’s pouring the gas on JR everyone is yelling at him to stop. He picks up a match, lights it and throws it on JR. Kane leaves and staff put the fire out. Eric comes out, “damn you, Steve Austin. How does that make you feel? That wasn’t Kane that poured gas on JR and set him on fire, it was you. This is your fault. I got a call from Linda and next week on RAW she’s going to fire you.”© Copyright 2000 by www.3e6r.net |
