- It's worth noting that WWE used a different camera angle than the live shot that aired last week of Kane piledriving Linda McMahon in the opening video of RAW last night. The word backstage after last week's show was that Vince McMahon was not happy that the live shot gave away how much space there was between Linda's head and the floor of the stage.

- Bradshaw spoke on the Kane angle in an interview. He put over the way the Kane angle has played out and said that it's nice to see WWE go back to pushing Kane as a monster. He noted that the attempt to give him a "normal persona", as WWE did with Undertaker, just didn't work out well.

- On that matter, and The Torch reports, WWE used a new tactic in putting Kane over as a heel, to combat the face reaction he's been getting. They allowed Shane to get on the offensive, getting the heavy babyface pops, so that Kane would have to be the heel in the situation. The "laughing" at the end was then the way for Kane to save face.

- Goldberg vs. Ric Flair was announced for next week.
