Mexican Wrestling Legend Passes Away; Raw Rating Drops; WWE Releases Psichosis

Reuters issued this sad news Wednesday evening regarding the passing of Mexican Wrestling legend Huracan Ramirez:
MEXICO CITY (Reuters) - Daniel Garcia, who starred as Huracan (Hurricane) Ramirez during the golden age of Mexican wrestling films in the 1960s, has died of a heart attack, family members said on Wednesday.
Garcia, who died on Tuesday at the age of 80, wore a blue-and-white mask in matches in Asia, South America and the Caribbean. He also played leading roles in several movies during his three-decade-long career.
His identity was not revealed until he retired in 1987.
Garcia's on-screen persona, Huracan Ramirez, and other masked wrestlers fought vampires, international crime organizations and Martians in low-budget, but extremely imaginative movies treasured by cult-film collectors worldwide.
WWE announced today on WWE.com that they released Psichosis on 11/1/06. Several other website prematurely reported his release. Although expected anyway because of his recent criminal activity in Mexico, WWE let him go today.

Raw continues to dive in the ratings. This week Raw scored a 3.5 1/2 off of hours 3.4 and 3.7. That's down from last week's 3.6. It's funny how sites are noting that Monday Night Football also did a crappy rating. When will those people realize that WWE had done 5's, 6's, and even 7's, when MNF aired. The low WWE ratings are simply a case of fans prefering to watch other sh** or do other sh** than tuning into Raw. Case Closed.
AM Raw scored a 0.9 cable rating.
