LA RESISTANCE vs THE DUDLEYS

During HEAT, they announced the match to be a handicapped, tables, title-match. Spike Dudley is out to sell the table injuries.

Rene Dupree starts off against D'Von. They exchange punches, but D'Von gets a quick advantage. Rob Conway is tagged in and goes back and forth with D'Von. Bubba is eventually tagged in and goes at it with Conway.

Bubba knocks Conway to the mat with a clothesline, and sets all three members of La Resistance up in his corner, and hits them all, leaving himself and Dupree in the ring.  D'Von is tagged in, but Dupree and Conway get the upper hand.

Bubba eventually comes in and takes both Dupree and Conway out, setting Dupree up for the "Whassup drop". After they nail Dupree, Bubba tells D'Von to get the tables.

Bubba sets up the table in the ring, but La Resistance quickly answers back. They take both Dudleys out (D'Von gets sent through a table and eliminated), but can't get Bubba through the table yet. Grenier goes to work on Bubba, with Conway and Dupree beating D'Von up on the outside.

Bubba gets the upper hand on Grenier and suplexes him through the table. Its two-on-one. Bubba has to fight all three off, and then hits the Bubba Bomb on Dupree. Bubba and D'Von then throw Conway through a table on the outside together, and it's down to Bubba and Dupree. Bubba and D'Von get the upper hand, and set Dupree up for the 3-D. They nail 3-D on Dupree thru the tables and the match is over. (** 1/2)

Winners: THE DUDLEYS - NEW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS

TEST vs SCOTT STEINER

Before the match starts, Steiner and Stacy embrace. Stacy goes thru the ropes as Steiner stares at her ass. Test nails Steiner, the match starts, but Steiner regains control within the first minute.

Match moves to the outside, where Steiner goes to hit Test. Test tries to use Stacy as a shield. She then slaps Test, and Steiner goes to work on Test, stomping him into the guard wall.

Test then gets control as the match moves into the ring, and takes Steiner down. He then does push-ups to mock Steiner.

The match moves along and Test gets Steiner in a sleeper-hold. After a few moments, Steiner fights his way out with some elbows, but Test knocks him right down. Steiner quickly answers back with a belly-to-belly suplex, and both men are on the mat.

They get up at the same time, and Steiner hits Test with a clothesline. Steiner then forces Test into the corner and hits him with some chops, before another suplex. Near fall.

They get to their feet and Test rakes Steiner's eyes, then sets him up for a pumphandle slam. Steiner reverses and hits a powerbomb on Test.

Test low-blows Steiner and goes for a cover using the ropes. Stacy pushes his feet off, preventing the cheat victory.

Stacy then pulls Test's head down on the ropes, letting Steiner get a cover, two count. Test moves on and prepares for a big butt, but Stacy moons the crowd and Test goes over to stop her, only for a roll-up from Steiner. Two count.

Test gets control again, then brings a chair into the ring. Stacy grabs the chair and tries to nail Test with it. However, she misses Test and nails Steiner in the head. As Steiner got up, Test nails him with the big boot for the 1-2-3. (**)

Winner: TEST

RANDY ORTON vs HBK

They start off with some good technical mat wrestling. Everytime they exchange holds, HBK gets the advantage, which starts to frustrate Orton.

Eventually, Orton & HBK go outside to the floor. Orton and Flair start to double team HBK, as they work on his shoulder. The match moves back into the ring and Orton continues to work hard on HBK's shoulder.

HBK gains some momentum and lands the Thesz press on Orton.

As HBK continues some offense, Flair climbs the apron to attack Michaels, but gets a stiff punch by HBK. As Flair hits the floor, HBK grabs Orton and then tosses him to the outside.

Orton gains the advantage once again and attempts a splash onto HBK. However, HBK raises his foot which connects onto Orton. He sets up for some sweet chin music, but Orton catches HBK and lands the R-K-O. He goes for the pin, but only gets a 2 count.

HBK gets up and sets up for the super kick. Orton gets up and is nailed with the super kick. As HBK gets the three count, Ric Flair puts Orton's leg on the ropes. As HBK's music hits, referee Hebner sees Orton's leg on the ropes and tells HBK the match is going to continue. Flair tries to attack HBK, but gets a superkick for his troubles. Orton goes outside the ropes and puts something in his hand. As HBK tries to suplex Orton back into the ring, Orton hits him in the head several times knocking him out. Orton falls onto HBK and Hebner counts 1-2-3. (*** 1/2)

Winner: RANDY ORTON

Jericho is backstage talking to La Resistance. He tells them that they weren't ready for a title match and Austin's abuse of power has to stop.

GAIL KIM & MOLLY vs TRISH STRATUS & LITA

Match starts off with Lita and Gail Kim in the ring. Lita opens with a suplex on Kim, then tags Trish who nails Kim with a few chops. Gail sends Trish into the ropes, but Trish comes back and takes Gail right down.

Trish gets a series of near-falls, then continues to hit Gail with some hard chops. Eventually, Molly pulls Trish to the outside, and the two heels double team Trish. Molly then enters the ring and has Trish in a submission hold.

Gail comes back in and continues to keep Trish in a hold. However, she moves too near the corner and Trish climbs up the rope and ges a reversal. Lita seems to be preparing for a hot-tag, but Molly runs around and pulls Lita off the apron. Somehow, Lita busts her mouth as we see some blood coming out of her moth.

Molly hits Trish with a backbreaker, but only gets a two-count. Gail is tagged in and goes for a legdrop off the top rope, but Trish gets out of the way. Finally, the hot tag is set up and Lita takes control of Molly, while also fighting off Gail. Molly tries to set Lita up for a backbreaker, but Lita turns it into a hurricanrana. Lita then powerbombs Gail Kim.

Molly hits Lita from behind, but Trish goes to work on Molly, setting her up for a reverse twist of fate. Lita climbs the ropes and hits a sloppy moonsault for the 1-2-3. (**)

Winners: LITA & TRISH STRATUS

SHANE MCMAHON vs KANE

Kane comes to the ring first, sporting some new ring attire. He is wearing only tights with the same black and red colors. He is no longer wearing a top. As Shane hits the ring, he nails Kane with a chair several times. A few shots to the head, back, and knee.

Shane continues the aggression, and then jumps off the security wall, but Kane catches him and hits a sloppy powerslam. Kane starts some offense against Shane using the steel steps.

Kane brings Shane into the ring, and hits a chokeslam. Kane goes to hit Shane, but knocks the referee Charles Robinson out instead.Kane brings the steps into the ring, but Shane gets the upper hand. While Kane is slumped in the corner, Shane rams the steel steps into Kane. Shane then puts the steel steps in front of Kane, climbs the opposite turnbuckle, and hits a Van Terminator onto Kane with the steps. Both men are down for a minute or two as the crowd chants "Holy Shit" and "One More Time".

As the ref gets back into the ring, Kane hits Shane with the steps, then throws him over the top rope to the outside.

They brawl outside the ring a bit going towards the entrance way. As they get near the Titantron, Kane gets the upperhand. Kane throws Shane into the metal UNFORGIVEN sign. Referee counts to 6 but Kane picks him up and throws him into the steel sign three more times.

Kane rams Shane's head into the Spanish announce table. As Shane is laying on the concrete, Kane removes the monitors from the table, then throws the table onto Shane. So he thought. As Kane went to check the table, Shane attacks him from behind. Shane hits Kane a few times in the head with a metal object, then hits Kane with a camera mount. As Kane gets up at 9, Shane chokes Kane with wire.

Shane hits a few punches on Kane, then a DDT on the concrete.Shane then hits Kane in the head with a monitor a few times. As Kane is laid out, Shane climbs the Unforgiven sign, which is about 25 feet high. He jumps off and Kane moves. Shane lands on his back and breaks thru the "padded floor". The referee counts to 10 and the match is over. They show Paramedics putting Shane on a stretcher, selling the fall. (***)

Winner: KANE

We cut to the back as Austin is seen watching the PPV on a monitor. Jericho enters and confronts Austin. He brings up how Austin created a monster in Kane and that he is going to make Austin "crack". He tells Austin to sit down, drink his beer, and watch Y2J win the IC Title.

CHRISTIAN vs ROB VAN DAM vs CHRIS JERICHO

The first 10 minutes of the match is real stale. The crowd is dead, and noone seems to be smooth. The match mostly has Jericho and Christian double teaming RVD, with RVD getting some offense. Nice spot where RVD moonsaults onto Jericho and Christian who were outside the ring.

Jericho gets RVD in the Walls of Jericho, but Christian breaks it up. Christian and Jericho then go at it. Now the match seems to pick up a bit, and the crowd seems to be getting into it a bit.

Christian climbs the turnbuckle, but gets crotched. Jericho knocks RVD to the floor, and nails Christian with a Superplex. As both men were down, RVD enters the ring. He goes back and forth with Jericho a bit. Christian enters the ring and goes at it with RVD. RVD gets the upper hand and knocks Christian onto Jericho. While Christian is laying on Jericho, RVD nails a frog splash. (This didnt make sense, as the ref didnt make the count even though Christian was laying on Jericho for about 20 seconds).

Nice move with Christian nailing a powerbomb onto Jericho and RVD. Christian brings the belt into the ring, but RVD gets the upperhand. RVD goes for another frog splash, but Christian puts the belt and his legs up. He rolls up RVD and gets the 1-2-3. (** 1/2)

Winner: CHRISTIAN

JERRY LAWLER & JR vs AL SNOW & THE COACH

Surprisingly, neither Austin nor Bischoff come out to announce. Mistake as no commentary leads to us hearing how dead the crowd is with this match. Lawler and Al Snow start off and go back and forth for about 5 minutes. The crowd is not into the match at all at this point. Lawler hits the piledriver on Snow. As Snow gets to his fit, and falls towards his corner, Coach tags himself in. Al Snow is not happy. Coach attempts some shots on Lawler but they are not smooth. He throws Lawler into the corner and tries a bronco buster. But Lawler moves, and Coach is down.

Lawler nails a shot in the head and goes for the 3 but Snow breaks it up. Lawler tags in Ross. Ross kicks Al Snow in the nuts and kicks Coach a few times. While JR is beating down Coach, Jericho comes in and kicks JR in the back of the head. He puts Coach onto JR and the ref counts 1-2-3. Jericho is interviewed for a moment, and says that this was one way he is going to "chip at Austin". (* 1/2)

Winners: AL SNOW & THE COACH

MAIN EVENT: TRIPLE H vs GOLDBERG

Before the match starts, Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler talk about how they just lost their jobs. Even though they are upset, they are going to call this match.

Triple H comes out first alone, then Goldberg. Crowd seems to be into Goldberg, but not completely. They lock up and Triple opens up the early advantage with punches. However, Goldberg reverses a move into a body press slam. Triple H climbs out of the ring to the floor.

He climbs back in and they start exchanging punches. Goldberg hits a suplex on Triple H. He then sets up for the sphere. As he goes to hit the move, Triple H moves out of the way and nails Goldberg with an elbow. Triple H then throws Goldberg to the outside.

He slams Goldberg into the ringpost. As Goldberg enters the ring, Triple H nails him in the back for a quick 2 count. Triple H nails a few more punches, but Goldberg comes back with punches of his own. As Goldberg tries to get the upper hand, Triple H wraps Goldberg's leg around the ringpost. He hits a chop block on Goldberg twice.

Goldberg eventually reverses a move into a strong suplex. They exchange a few more punches with Triple H eventually getting some momentum. He then throws Goldberg into Referee Hebner, who gets knocked out of the ring.

Triple H tries to hit the Pedigree on Goldberg, but Goldberg reverses it and throws Triple H over the top rope to the floor.

Triple H while on the floor, goes under the ring and grabs a sledgehammer. As Goldberg reaches over to get Triple H, he is nailed in the jaw with the sledgehammer.

Triple H, thinking he has the upperhand, goes into the ring, but is greeted with a sphere. As the referee climbs into the ring, Goldberg picks up Triple H and nails him with the jackhammer. He thens pins Triple H for the 1-2-3. The match lasted about 14 minutes total. (**)

Winner: GOLDBERG - NEW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION

After the PPV goes off the air, Goldberg is walking around the ring and then to the back, high fiving some fans.

Triple H eventually gets up with a sad look on his face. He limps slowly to the back and the show is over.
