Scott Steiner Injured During TNA Puerto Rico Event, Undergoes Successful Trachea Surgery

Scott Steiner underwent succesful surgery today to repair a serious throat injury that occurred Sunday night in Puerto Rico.

Steiner suffered a fractured trachea after being superkicked in the throat by Apolo during a match. Originally Steiner only felt soreness after the match. However he had trouble breathing later that night, and had coughed up blood. He was taken to a local hospital where it was revealed the injury to his trachea.

Everyone here wishes Scott Steiner a fast and complete recovery. Obviously the upcoming PPV match between The Steiners and Team 3D is off. However with the proper time off, Steiner should be able to return in a few months.
