From 3e6r.net Latest News Headlines Lex Luger Released From Prison; TNA Impact Rating; Christy Hemme Statement On WWE Release
It appears that former WWE, WCW wrestler Lex Luger (real name Lawrence Wendall Pfohl) was released tonight (12/20) from the Hennepin County jail in Minneapolis. He is still due back in GA court this Thursday 12/22 to answer outstanding warrants likely due to Contempt of Court charges against Pfohl from previous incidents. Early in the year we told you about his former wife suing him in court for alimony and child support. If my recollection is correct, he was scheduled to appear in court back in March for the support hearings and possibly did not show. That would result in a contempt charge against Luger. And in February 2005, Pfohl was arrested in GA for various charges including DUI and driving with fraudulent tags. If he was held in contempt for any past charges, it is likely one or both of the above mentioned. This is just my analysis of what has transpired. More on this story following his court appearance later this week. Below are a few recent articles 3e6r.net has posted on his legal matters. Click the links below to read any of them. TNA Impact for Saturday night (12/17) scored a 0.7 rating.
Christy Hemme issued the following statement on her website regarding her release from WWE. I find it a bit interesting though. First she claims she did not have a 'money issue' with WWE. She then goes on to state she was released due to 'budget cuts'. Has she followed WWE financials at all? Not to mention that 'budget cuts' are a money issue. Not to mention if they wanted to keep her at all, they would have offered her at least a Developmental deal since she was at OVW or a much smaller salary. When you look at who is being paid and not released, WWE simply had no more interest in Hemme. Anyway, here's her statement: Hello everyone! Thank you so much to everyone who has and is still supporting me. Even though the partnership with WWE and I did not end very will (sic), I am truly thankful for the experience. All I can say at this time to clear up some of the rumors, there was no battle over money. Money was never my motivation for working. Truth is that I was completely dedicated to the company and believed in everything I was doing. I trusted it. I was willing to put my personal life aside to give everything I had to what I was doin and become better wrestler/performer. I was told that I was a budget cut and creatively they didn't have anything for me. I am very disappointed in the WWE, where I learned a very important lesson. I am a very determined person with a huge amount of engery for my life and my career. Everything happens for a reason and anything that has happened in my life that has knocked me down has only built me back up stronger. I feel stronger than ever and I am hungry for this huge future before me. Again, THANK YOU soooo much to everyone who has believed in me and is supporting me. © Copyright 2000 by www.3e6r.net |
