UXW Returns To Orlando, FL 2/24/07 w/ Raven, Billy Kidman, Kip James, Jake Roberts, More
In his latest release sent across the net, Josh Rich (new UXW clerk) didn't bother to address fans of major changes & talent vanishing off the show. I feel I owe to our FL viewers a clear update to the 2/24 show since Mr Rich was 'poor' in doing so.
Don't get me wrong, the card is still strong and definitely worth attending. But since I've received several IM's and emails asking about 'what happened to...', 'when did *** get removed?', 'why does the poster have 10 names not on the show', etc. I want to clear this up for everyone asking.

Jake The Snake Roberts was pulled from the main event match, which UXW's explanation is below. For those asking me why, I don't know what the actions of a totally separate promotion would have to do with UXW. I'm sure there's a good reason. Anyway, he will be there and you should enjoy his appearance no matter who he faces. Any questions should be directed to them.
Now on to the good news. Billy Kidman has been added since the last release.

Due to recent accusations against Jake "The Snake" Roberts and him being escorted out of a recent wrestling show, we here at UXW have decided to pull Jake Roberts from his championship match with Raven.
When Jake Roberts heard about this though he was mad as hell and refused to accept our reasoning. He said he still will be at Hardcore Wrestlewar and will not only address the situation but show everybody that he still has what it takes to make it in the wrestling world. Jake's opponent will be named on the night of the show.
In place of the previous Jake Roberts vs Raven title match, we instead bring you:
STEVE CORINO
VS
RAVEN!
We didn't just grant Corino a title shot though. We got something out of it. Corino has agreed to bring Ricky Landell and defend the AWA World Tag Team Titles on the show against the Heartbreak Express. It's not just that simple though. The Heartbreak Express have to get through the Christopher Street Connection first and win that match to get the shot at the AWA World Tag Team Titles.
UXW has vacated the tag titles and made a decision on what to do. The UXW tag straps will now be decided by the winner of the Heartbreak Express vs Christopher Street Connection tag match. Both are highly worthy of this and have vowed to win the match and be the new champions. So now if the Heartbreak Express win, they not only go on to face Ricky Landell and Steve Corino for the AWA World Tag Titles, they'll also be making their first UXW Tag Title defense!
