Victory Pro Wrestling Results 12/8/2006 Long Island, NY; Special Thank You From 3e6r.net

I want to personally thank everyone who came down Friday night. A record number in attendance is great for VPW. But personally I saw alot of familiar faces and friends in attendance. Not to mention many of our local webcast listeners that I had never met until Friday. And the bus trip was completely sold out. Everyone had a great time and looking forward to seeing you all back at the next show. - Anthony 'Don Tony' DeBlasi

VPW 12/8/06 Official Results & Notes

“Steel City Assassin” Sabotage d. “Working Class Wrestler” Chopsaw
After firing Don Tony back in September, Sabotage looks to be back on a roll
as he defeated Chopsaw.  Chopsaw was coming off a win over JMS and Eug
Perversion, but the Steel City Assassin proved to be too crafty for the
Working Class Wrestler.

In-Ring Segment w/ Don Tony & Grim Reefer
Immediately after the opening match, Don Tony and Grim Reefer made their way
down to the ring to welcome the bus trip fans that were coming from Reefer
and Tony’s hometowns of Ozone Park and Howard Beach.  Reefer then went on a
tirade where he ripped apart the Long Island fans and praised his
neighborhood.  Don Tony then started to talk about how much better he people
of Howard Beach and Ozone Park are, but Jason Static stormed the ring and
physically shut Don Tony up.  Grim Reefer and Don Tony then retreated to the
back.

“Superstar” JD Michaels & April Hunter d. Danny Demanto & Tina Marina
Before the match, JD and April verbally abused the Long Island fans.
Demanto and Marina gave it their all, but in the end, JD and April got the
win.  The injured Alicia was observing the match from a distance.

Mack Daddy Flexx d. “2 Cocky” Kevin Matthews
When Flexx got to the ring, Matthews made it known to the fans that he
wasn’t happy to be performing in front of them or wrestling Flexx.  Flexx
quickly had enough of Matthews running his mouth and took it to him before
the bell even rang.

Deranged d. Javi-Air & “Suicidal Demon” Azrieal
This triple threat match was as fast and wild as everyone thought it would
be.  The action didn’t stop until the match ended.  Deranged pinned
Javi-Air.  There was still tension between Javi-Air and Deranged stemming
back from their argument after their match at the last VPW show.

Intermission

Jerry Fitzwater Segment w/ Eclipse & Jack O’Hearts
Fitzwater came out singing and eventually brought out his guests.  Eclipse
boasted how nobody in VPW has been able to stop them and how there was no
competition for them.  Eclipse then told the fans that they were leaving.
As they were about to walk through the curtain, the Dead Presidents ran out
and a match was underway.

Dead Presidents d. Eclipse w/ Jack O’Hearts
It looks like Jack O’Hearts and Eclipse bit off a lot more than they could
chew because the Dead Presidents handed them their first VPW loss.
Unfortunately for the Dead Presidents, that loss didn’t sit well.
Immediately after the match, Boog Washington was cracked in the head with
Jack O’Hearts briefcase.  Boog Washington was not moving after the shot and
had to be carefully brought to the back where he awaited transportation to
receive proper medical attention.  It was later announced to the crowd that
he was banged up, but would be ok.  Lo Lincoln has already vowed revenge on
Eclipse.

Johnny Suburban w/ Jack O’Hearts d. DC Diamond w/ Jimmy Time
Not wanting to face another loss on this show, Jack O’Hearts interfered just
when it looked like DC Diamond was going to win.  This allowed Johnny
Suburban to get the win.

Papadon d. Richie Tyler
Papadon was back to his old tricks as he defeated Richie Tyler for the
second straight time.  Just like last time, Papadon cheated to win and
couldn’t do it like a man.  This time, Papadon had Sabotage interfere and
screw over his long-time rival.  Papadon tried to play it off like he didn’t
set all of this up, but within minutes, both men were kicking a fallen
Richie Tyler.  Having seen enough, Mack Daddy Flexx ran out to save his
friend Richie and chase off Papadon and Sabotage.

Eug Perversion d. Scotty Rio, JMS and LI Kid
This elimination match saw JMS and LI Kid taken out first, leaving Eug
Perversion to get his revenge on the debuting Scotty Rio, who had attacked
him at the last show.

Jason Static d. Grim Reefer w/ Don Tony
This rematch saw Jason Static finally get his revenge on Grim Reefer.
Reefer and Don Tony tried every trick they could think of but in the end, it
all backfired.  This fight saw a lot of wrestling and a lot of brawling.
There was even a point where it ended up in the locker room.  Don Tony also
got a big receipt courtesy of Jason Static in the form of a chair shot to
the head.

Other Notes:
The VPW staff would like to thank everyone that came out this Friday night,
as well as all of the wrestlers and people who helped out at the show.  This
was VPW’s most attended show to date.  For the first time, the stage side of
the ring had rows added to it and the building legitimately ran out of
chairs.  Fans who didn’t get there early enough were left standing or using
tables.

Also, the VPW bus trip from Queens and Brooklyn was completely sold-out and
we would like to thank everyone who took the bus to the event.

VPW will be returning to what has become the VPW Arena on Friday night,
March 2, 2007.  The building is located at:
