Tess Broussard's Filmography; Vikings Coach Says Brock Lesnar Likely To Re-Sign; Nowinski Criticizes Bush Twins, WWE's 'American Idol'; NWA TNA Trading Card Co Out Of Business; Wrestlemania 21 Ticket Prices; Hulk Hogan vs Puff Daddy

BROCK LESNAR LIKELY TO BE A VIKING AGAIN

On our current hotline report, we got into the probable relationship Brock Lesnar still had with the Vikings. From the fact they are still marketing his jersey, to comparisons a Vikings coach made last week of him to former Cardinal Eric Swann, it made sense. Most importantly, we said he would continue his training, likely be signed to the practice squad later on, then go to NFL Europe. And, there's no chance he's returning to WWE.

Here's what Minnesota Vikings coach Mike Tice is now saying about Lesnar: "I can't promise that he'll be back before Dallas (Sept. 12, 2004)"..... "But I think at some point this season you'll see Brock Lesnar back as a Viking.".

Tice also mentioned that he thinks Lesnar could develop as "a real good inside, nickel pass-rusher."

NOWINSKI CRITICIZES BUSH TWINS; WWE 'AMERICAN IDOL'

Last week we told you about comments John "Bradshaw" Layfield made poking fun at John Kerry's Purple Hearts. Chris Nowinski had this to say early Tuesday about the daughters of George W Bush:

"I would tell them 'when are they going to start using their own voices and really telling young people what they think.' Telling people, 'Vote for my dad, he's a good guy, isn't telling us anything we didn't already know,".

Nowinski & Bradshaw are receiving negative press about their comments. But I couldn't help laugh at hearing that several reporters and politicians mistaken Mark Henry at the convention as......

American Idol's Ruben Studdard! I think this gives you an idea how WWE is portrayed at the conventions for the most part. Shawn Michaels and Linda McMahon seem to be the only 2 who haven't received either criticizm or jokes.

TNA TRADING CARDS MANUFACTURER SHUTS DOWN

In the October 2004 issue of Beckett Hockey Magazine, it is being reported that Pacific Trading Cards is going out of business. The company, who was the producer of sports cards including TNA wrestling, sold all of its printing and packaging equipment, most of its office equipment and an extensive photo library in an auction last week.

The president of Pacific Mike Cramer said that the company may not be gone forever, but is "basically going into hibernation." (Kind of like Court Bauer and his insults to wrestling!)

Unless Pacific gets a big business offer to produce cards, they will most likely be done.

HULK HOGAN vs SEAN PUFFY COMBS

Here's two notes from Hulk Hogan at the MTV music awards. During a party hosted by Sean (Puffy) Combs at his mansion, in front of all who attended Combs "challenged" Hulk Hogan to a wrestling match. The winner receives $1 million. However when Hogan started towards Combs, Puffy "chickened out". It was all in good fun.

Something that wasn't fun, was that a car hit the side of Hogan's limo the night of the awards show. Hogan was in the limo at the time, but luckily noone was hurt.

Thanks for reading.
