Vince & Donald On Fox News Recap; 3/19 Raw Cable Rank; Smackdown Preview; WWE Claims $2 Million+ Dropped (From Ceiling) During Raw Segment
I just caught Donald Trump and Vince McMahon's appearance on Fox News. Yes they were both on together. Trump appears on Fox News regularly, and always comes off well. But both of them together, it was very entertaining.
Obviously the focus of the conversation had to do with Wrestlemania 23 and the 'bald' angle. They went over the details of the match and Steve Austin as the referee. Donald emphasized that alot of money will go to charity. At one point they discussed ratings increased thanks to the angle. Well Donald said WWE's ratings were at an 'all-time' high, but take the comment as hyping the Mania stip. A funny point came when Donald realized that his show The Apprentice will go up against Wrestlemania since they both air Sunday night.
They both agreed to appear on Fox News after Wrestlemania. One will be bald, the other will not. They came off real well in the segment. They also came off that they really are friends (despite attempts to sway that), but it won't hurt the Wrestlemania match at all.

The Detroit News has a brief and quite bland Q&A posted with Donald Trump. Not Trump's fault, it was the line of questions in the article.

A few readers sent along this blurb from this month's edition of WWE Magazine. In it, they claim that WWE dropped $2,572,800 in $100 and $50 bills from the ceiling last month on Raw during the Donald Trump / Vince McMahon segment. I find that a bit exaggerated, especially since there were quite a bit of 10's and 20's dropped as well.
