Wrestlemania 23 PPV Theme; WWE Releases Four More; New Warrior Auctions On Ebay
Add former WCW, WWE wrestler and Deep South trainer Bill Demott, as well as developmentals Mike & Tracy Taylor, and Tony Salantro to the list of released talent by WWE.
Chartattack.com posted the following news regarding this year's official theme for Wrestlemania 23:
Saliva’s new album Blood Stained Love Story will be releasing on shelves January 23, 2007. This is the bands fifth album and fourth of Island. The opening track, and first single titled, “Ladies And Gentlemen” is already a rock hit on the radio and will also be the official theme song for this years WWE WrestleMania 23.
This isn’t the first time that the WWE has used one of Saliva's songs as an official Wrestlemania theme song. The 18th edition of the venerable grappling extravaganza featured "Always" as its signature track, and the band performed it live at the 2002 event. They also crafted wrestler Batista's theme song for the 2006 WWE compilation album, Reckless Intent.
Lead singer and Chad Kroeger's Spider-Man buddy, Josey Scott, told WWE.com that "Ladies And Gentlemen" was written "for our friends at the WWE."
Rounding out Saliva are Wayne Swinny and Chris D'abaldo on guitars, Dave Novotny on bass and Paul Crosby on drums.
Warrior has a new auction up on Ebay offering wrestling figures from his private collection. Along with it, is a very entertaining message to ignorant Ebay members who don't understand what the meaning of a collectable valuable item is.
CLICK HERE to view the auction.
And now, his message:
"RELISTED!! In the interest of providing ALL ebay sellers entrepreneurial motivation and comic relief, I am relisting this auction and the near 500 (so far) empty, ridiculously asinine, cheapshots fellow ebayers have taken at entrepreneurialship and capitalism.
This is the culture today. It's a crime to make money off your own hard work (taking your own risk), but it's perfectly fine for them to act hypocrites and piggyback on your hard work to profit, themselves (see sellers making comments).
In addition, to enlarge the motivation and confidence of all the entrepreneurs (who have the guts and discipline to make their own way instead of sitting on their butt and waiting for someone to provide it for them), I am putting my own fearless confidence in the value of my own product on the line -- I am increasing the price from $300 to $500 and extending a personal motivational phone call to all buyers. ALL Ultimate Warrior Collectibles are valuable. No other Sports Entertainment identity carries or holds value like it. Period. Once it sells at this price, the buyer has my promise that what they paid will be the immediate (and sustained) market price for this unique, one-of-a-kind two pack acquired from my personal collection. Never will it be sold at a lesser price. Never. The value will change ONLY when a higher price is paid, and, of course, that increased value will be to your benefit. This is THE ONE you want to have -- the one that made the small-minded critics choke on their own ignorance.
Let the comedy begin. It cost me $10 for a two hour movie. I just bought 10 days of belly-busting entertainment for $3.95."
