WWE Announces Paul Heyman Dismissed From ECW Duties, However.....

WWE.com and ECW.com posted the following this afternoon (my comments following the announcement):
Distraught by the results of December to Dismember, ECW Representative Paul Heyman appeared to be distant and depressed this afternoon at the North Charleston Coliseum hours before an ECW live event.
This condition was further exasperated by Mr. McMahon, who decided to send Heyman home. The WWE Chairman cited slumping television ratings and a disgruntled talent roster as causes for Mr. Heyman’s dismissal.
Check back to ECW.com for updates on the status on Paul Heyman and ECW.
Many websites are reporting that Paul Heyman has been released. Other sites are specifically saying that Heyman is no longer employed with WWE or ECW.
I've already discussed this next point before on our webcast. I don't like when WWE references Vince McMahon as 'Mr McMahon'. To me, that's a tell tale sign that at this particular moment, the announcement is storyline. Can it become reality for a Paul Heyman release? Sure. But to me, and it's just my opinion, Mr McMahon references are designed for his character.
If you ask my opinion, the 'release' is storyline at the present moment until WWE decides what to do next with Paul Heyman....which could lead to a release.
We'll discuss this tonight during Monday night's Minority Report webcast. Make sure you check it out. We start at 11:15PM EST.
