WWE Signs Jannetty, Mack, & Godwinn; Issues Quarterly Dividend; Matt Hardy Talks Hardy Boyz
In addition to Brad Armstrong, WWE has signed Marty Jannetty, Rodney Mack, and Henry Godwinn to contracts. WWE notes that the four will be brought in to 'help younger talent'. Some will interpret that as trainers. Others will interpret it as jobbers. Hopefully, WWE will utilize them to their potential. We've ripped on Marty Jannetty in the past for his public bullsh** he spewed when he was released by WWE. However he showed he can still do it in the ring. Hopefully WWE gives him a chance to shine in the ring one more time.
The CW affiliate here in NY recently had an interview with Matt Hardy. The interview was designed to promote the CW Network and Smackdown. The interview suprisingly had some good content, especially about the possibility of a Hardy's reunion.

WWE issued the following press release on the latest stock dividend:
STAMFORD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 14, 2006--World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. (NYSE: WWE) announced that its board of directors today declared the Company's regular quarterly dividend of $0.24 per share on all Class A and Class B common stock. The record date for the dividend will be September 30, 2006, and the payment date will be October 10, 2006.
