WWE To 3e6r.net: Unaware Of Any Suit Stemming From Vince McMahon A** Cartoon
Gary Davis, Executive Vice President of World Wrestling Entertainment was kind enough to send along this statement. This stems from reports that WWE was being sued by Cartoon Network's Assy McGee over the Vince McMahon 'Kiss My Ass' Cartoon. Here's his statement:

I noted that Anthony DeBlasi write a brief note on a lawsuit filed
against WWE.
To date, WWE has not been served with a lawsuit from the creators of the
cartoon "Assy McGee," and is unaware of any such claims.
I would appreciate you setting the record straight on your website.

I wanted to post this right away to dispel reports of such suit. Of course this situation could change in the future. But as of now as Gary Davis has stated, any claims of a current lawsuit are frivolous.
I believe this should clear claims that Michael Cole is in any hot water right now over this matter. I'm sure that he could have issues with WWE over other matters at WWE.com. But as far as the Kiss My A** cartoon, Michael Cole does deserve an apology on the matter.
