WWE Touts Lousy Raw Rating Claiming Millions New Viewers 'Sampled' Raw; But....

This is funny to us at least. WWE posted today that 'Millions of New Viewers Sampled Raw' Monday. My eyes stuck to the word 'sampled'.

Then the rating came out. A cheesy 3.9 rating off of hours 3.9 and 3.9. So basically what WWE is claiming is that about 2.5 Million viewers that don't normally tune in changed the channel to Raw for a quick moment.  Then they saw what was on their TV screen and changed it to something else.

If I were WWE, when the final rating is only 1/10 or 2/10 of what they've been receiving, I wouldn't try to sugarcoat a lousy 3.9. Because you can also say Millions of New Viewers sampled Raw. But since the ratings didn't jolt, many regular fans choose not to watch.

And next week when 'Millions of Those New Viewers Didn't Sample Raw Again'...
