Joey Styles Announces 'Hardcore Homecoming' Main Event; Ringside Tickets On Sale Next Week

Back on March 29th, we reported the heavily rumored main event for Shane Douglas' reunion show of former ECW stars would be Sabu vs Terry Funk vs Shane Douglas. Today, Joey Styles proudly issued this press release confirming the match. Here's the Press Release:
In the first official video announcement on HardcoreHomecoming.com, Joey Styles confirmed that the first match officially signed for the June 10th Hardcore Homecoming event will be a rematch of one of the most famous contests ever to take place in Philadelphia's Viking Hall, as Terry Funk, Sabu, and Shane Douglas will fight in a rematch from wrestling's first ever 3-way dance.
"This match is the one that started it all," said Shane Douglas., "and there is only one building that it can take place... the arena in Philadelphia. We will cross the line one more time."
The historic 60-minute draw between these three is considered what of greatest matches to ever take place in the former Viking Hall.
"Although the fans gave us all a standing ovation that night, they were not given a winner. As far as I'm concerned, this historic match continues the moment that bell rings June 10th, and we will find out once and for all who should have won that night."
Joey Styles, who will be there announcing the event live for the DVD June 10th, made the announcement today in a "Breaking News" video update, available for viewing on HardcoreHomecoming.com. Styles will announce the second match signed next Friday, the first day tickets will be available for the public.
The organizers of Hardcore Homecoming have gone all out to make sure fans are treated to the authentic "arena" experience. From the amazing talent roster being assembled down to the Atlas Security, Hardcore Homecoming is going to be a night of nostalgia from the "World's Most Famous Bingo Hall." This will also be a chance for newer fans to experience what they missed years ago.
To help re-create the kind of atmosphere in Viking Hall that changed professional wrestling forever, organizers of Hardcore Homecoming have brought on board the original founder of Eastern Championship Wrestling, Tod Gordon.
A post show party featuring an autograph session and Q&A will take place immediately following the event in the arena, with all of the superstars appearing that evening participating.
Several bus trips and tour groups have been arranged, as fans from around the globe have inquired about tickets. A thirty member contingent from Japan have already made arrangements to attend, with more expected in the coming weeks.
A very special ringside ticket package will go on sale this Friday at 11am Eastern exclusively on HardcoreHomecoming.com. The "Platinum Seating" ticket guarantees you a reserved ringside seat in the first four rows, a souvenir event poster, the official Hardcore Homecoming event program, a non-smear autograph marker, and a very special "event exclusive" steel chair, perfect for getting autographs during the post show party. Platinum Seating tickets are $150.00 (tax and service charges included in price) and will be available on a first come, first serve basis this Friday April 15th at 11am on HardcoreHomecoming.com.
MARCH 18,
2005 Our 'Extreme' Bus Trip Canceled, 'Insider' Withholding News On Many WWE 'ECW Legal Letters' Sent, More
In case you haven't heard, I appeared on the Masked Maniac hotline, 'venting' about a few issues with Mike Johnson at Pwinsider.com. In case you haven't heard, Mike Johnson at Pwinsider had printed a nasty article on WWE sending me legal papers over the ECW matter. I'm not going to get into the whole story again, as you to read my 'Extreme Blog' I'm running on the WWE 'ECW' PPV, Shane Douglas' reunion show, and the WWE legal matter.
However what I wasn't prepared to deal with, is Mike Johnson at Pwinsider.com, contacting Tod Gordon and telling him that he should "sue me" since I trademarked the Eastern Championship Wrestling name. A trademark I applied for, in order to HELP WITH PUSHING THE SHOW TOD GORDON IS ASSISTING IN. And to push the bus trip we were going to run for the Reunion show in PA.
Amazing how we all were supposed to be working together to make this show successful. And piece of s*** Mike Johnson goes and tries to hurt me. Why you may ask? Because Mike Johnson has to be the first at everything. He wanted to be the only one running bus trips. He even sent a press release writing "THERE WILL NOT BE A QUEENS BUS TRIP" to this event. He is a very insecure troll and needs to have the spotlight shined only on himself and PWInsider.com. Now he has it, unfortunately for the wrong reasons.
Because of this matter, 3e6r.net will not be running bus trips for the Reunion show. Tod Gordon, who fetched his attorneys on me, actually admitted (along with his attorney), that they didn't know the reasons I filed for the trademark.
The fact that Tod Gordon went ahead and called lawyers based on a conversation with Mike Johnson, and not knowing the facts, is moronic on the surface. However I don't find any fault in Tod Gordon, as he was trusting his friend. Little did he know Mike Johnson's motive behind the conversation.
I strongly suggest anyone who is interested in hearing some revealing information on this matter, CLICK HERE to listen to my appearance on the Masked Maniac hotline. It explains why the trademark was filed, what legal matters transpired, and the tasteless motives of one individual. Warning, there is quite a bit of vulgarity on the line.
After listening, maybe all of you should run and ask why Mike Johnson and Pwinsider.com took so much pride in reporting WWE legal letters sent to me. But still hasn't told the wrestling community that several others including quite possibly Viking Hall (aka ECW Arena) have received legal letters as well. Not to mention that Mike 'I Have A Small' Johnson may have received one himself. When I made the claim that Mike Johnson was purposely trying to give the impression everything was 'hunky dorey' on both sides, I wasn't joking. And I wasn't wrong.
Oops, did I just reveal a big story?
I want everyone to support the Extreme Reunion show in Philly. There are too many good people that want to bust their ass for you fans that night. And for the right reasons. ECW is a special part in many hearts around wrestling including mine. That's why this really hurt me, and pissed me off. ECW was never about me before them. It was a worth ethic. It was a special relationship with the fans. Everything Mr "I Have A Teeny Weeny" Johnson is not.
Monday I will be contacting WWE and advising that we will not be running bus trips. I will also advise them why. That is the extent of my response to WWE. All other items on their letters will be void since there isn't any bus trip running. And most of all, despite the classless actions on the behalf of Mike Johnson, I still will not be the 'Extreme Rat'.
Good luck to everyone running, performing, and attending the show. We will still push the show and support it in every other way.

Update On WWE "Extreme" legal papers, and clarifying one 'insider's' article
I see that some 'insider' websites have picked up on the WWE matter over Shane Douglas' reunion show in Philly. I'm amazed at the spinning written about the matter. To summarize and clarify two issues, as noted on UXW hotline last night, the biggest complaint I had was WWE asking me to be a 'rat' and trying to stop use of the word 'Extreme'. The other items relating to their graphics and ECW name is common sense that these references would be removed. As you can see on 3e6r.net, we have already started switching 'Extreme Championship Wrestling' with 'Eastern Championship Wrestling'. And the graphics posted like on the mainpage are not WWE copyrights. And all the articles below were corrected to abide with WWE. Two very important issues a certain 'insider' failed to mention.
Then again, maybe they did mention it. But over there you have to actually pay them money to see free news before it's released on their website for free.
We will be posting an update later on the trademark we filed for 'Eastern Championship Wrestling' (ECW) shortly. We will also get into how legally, WWE's claim on the legal papers about exclusivity to the word "Extreme" is incorrect. Remember fans, anything that we are doing, is to try and get the word out for what I believe is the true 'Extreme' reunion. It's not to screw around with WWE. However let's call a spade a spade. WWE thinks they can buy trademarks to make them 'Extreme'. We can respect the trademarks, but the respect between the fans and the former ECW wrestlers is what defined "Extreme".

WWE Sends Legal Letters Trying To Prevent Shane Douglas' Reunion Show From Going 'Extreme'
I know some websites have tried to make you believe everything between the WWE's 'ECW' PPV and Shane Douglas' reunion show have been hunky dory. And we have been telling you that there is so much heat between both sides, you can cook eggs on Vince McMahon's forehead. Shane Douglas' show is to give the legacy of Eastern Championship Wrestling, to take it to the Extreme one more time at the ECW Arena. WWE's, well, is a watered down attempt at milking some $$ from fans. Can't blame either side from having their show. But when I said WWE is fearing that Shane's show will have the feeling and aura of the days of Extreme, I wasn't kidding. WWE is now sending legal letters trying to keep Shane's show, from 'taking it to the Extreme'.
Below are legal letters we received from WWE. Not only is WWE is even trying to prevent the word "Extreme" on the Philly show, but they ask us to be the "Extreme Rat". Sorry WWE, we don't like cheese.
I know a lot of people love my snide remarks and analysis towards certain topics. But I prefer to allow the intellect of a few others to offer their professional analysis and inaccurate demands made by WWE.
I believe www.1wrestling.com will be reporting on this matter shortly and will be adding some very important analysis on this matter. Also if you would like to hear a lighthearted discussion of this matter, you can listen to me on the UXW Hotline hosted by the Masked Maniac. 516-214-8333, press option 1. (The call is free however long distance charges could apply if residing outside NY).

It's funny how this idiot claims that fans 'may misinterpret' Shane's show as a WWE product. I think it's the opposite. Maybe some ill advised fans going to the ECW arena, may think Stephanie McMahon will come out. I mean she's the owner of ECW right? Or wait, it's Ric Flair. Wasn't he the consortium that bought it? Woooooo my head is spinning!
I can assure you that even if I have to, every fan buying a ticket or the bus trip will sign a disclaimer that says "I understand that this show has no affiliation with WWE". And what about the comment that after I abide by all their demands, they will then determine the amount of damages against us. Give me a break.
I truly believe here is what's going down. WWE's Tommy Dreamer (Don Dreamer as we call him), made an offer to certain former talents from the ECW era not to work Shane Douglas's reunion show. However unlike Don Corleone, the talents refused the offers.
When they realized this, they then contacted wrestlers not under WWE contract and offered them to work the WWE PPV, and also 'gave their blessing' to work Shane's show as well.
As soon as they received commitments from these non-contracted wrestlers, they are now fu**ing with Shane's show. To the point that they are demanding that the show and our bus trip, not to even use the word "Extreme".
I see that I opened up my mouth anyway. For a professional analysis on this matter, as well clearing up one "Extreme" error in these legal demands, visit www.1wrestling.com shortly.

WWE Offers Non
Contracted Stars To Work 'ECW' PPV & Work Philly; Discounting 'Karma'
Article
As we broke on our hotline report
Sunday afternoon, WWE has now "compromised" with non-contracted talents to work
both Shane Douglas' Reunion Show and the WWE PPV. The first who was given
this offer was Sabu, then a few others. The offer was that WWE would like them
to work their PPV, and also allow them to work Shane's show.
However instead of just sticking to
that story, Mike Johnson of Pwinsider decided to "discount" claims we reported a
few weeks ago. That's funny. He's discounting news he never reported in the
first place. Therefore, I need to clear up some really ridiculous claims being
written today by Mr Johnson. And while I am doing so, think about the idea
behind Shane Douglas' show, and why it was done. Think about who is involved,
then think about what was written in another article discounting
any heat between both shows. You'll realize that article
has more holes than swiss cheese.
A few weeks ago, we broke on our
3e6r.net that Tommy Dreamer on behalf of WWE, offered a few wrestlers
$5000+ not to work Shane Douglas' PPV. I specifically on the hotline explained
how different the wording was. There's a big difference offering $$$ to work
WWE, than offering $$$ not to work Shane Douglas' show.
Last Saturday for UXW in Bethpage
Long Island, I spoke in detail to a few wrestlers from ECW who confirmed this
claim. Not to mention dozens of wrestlers mingling with one former ECW star and
congratulating him for "being true to ECW" and turning down the offer of not
working Shane Douglas' show.
I confirmed this afternoon that
over the last 2 weeks, Mike Johnson spoke several times with many of the stars
in question. If this story was false, he would have ran to report it 10 days
ago. He was very careful to make the comment that "most" have discounted the
claim. Because I can put two guests on my hotline who are working the show to
confirm the original Dreamer offer.
What is going down now is a
"compromise" between Shane Douglas' show and WWE. Sabu was the first contacted
by Tommy Dreamer and WWE, and advised he could work both shows. Again, a classy
move on WWE's part to offer Sabu the double payday, especially due to his recent
financial problems. Not to mention WWE fans for the most part, always wanted to
see Sabu get a WWE deal.
Shane Douglas deserves alot of
credit not balking against the WWE offer. The reason for the Mike Johnson
writing is designed for three reasons. One, to calm down the "friction" about
both shows which I think is a bit stupid. Fans that want to travel to Philly, do
not want a WWE influenced show. They want it to be a "renegade" type show. You
don't purchase a rabid Pit Bull guard dog as a playtoy for a child.
If anyone in this wrestling
world thinks Shane Douglas organized this reunion show, and originally had the
"blessing" of WWE that stars on their PPV would appear two day earlier in
Philly, is a moron. Anyone that attends the Philly shows and hears all the
anti WWE chants and comments from certain wrestlers will show Mike
Johnson's claims are a lame attempt at karma. If you soak in what Mike
Johnson claims to have never happened, would totally contradict the reason for
the Philly show.
The second reason for the article,
is because to contradict our article and comments the last two weeks. Of course
Pwinsider will always take the stand that "they will report the house on fire"
as long as they saw it themselves. Last week when we broke first details on the
bus trip, a Pwinsider press release "coincidentally" was released 30 minutes
later. Ironically about a bus trip for the same show. As I said previously, the day
Sandman and others were offered the $5K, there would have immediately been an
article written by MJ discounting the "exclusive" claim. And he claims in his
article that he didn't know where the news came from?
Message to Mike Johnson.
Remember this link I sent you clearing up this bus trip matter? CLICK HERE. Take a look at the
title.

I just wanted to clear up the
misconception and picture that article paints about the WWE & the PA reunion shows going on. And
for anyone that may want further confirmation of our article, you can call Frank
Goodman's hotline (516) 214-8333 Tuesday who will confirm our reports. I
personally will get into this tonight on our hotline (718) 303-4444. Both the
hotlines are free. If you live outside NY, Long Distance charges may
apply.
Don't forget, the onsale
date for Bus Trip reservations for our NY to Philly bus trip to the reunion show will
be March 22, 2005. We are seriously looking at another Bus trip location in
Brooklyn NY.

Bus Trip On Sale Date 'Extreme'
Reunion Show (PA)
As we
reported in our February
23rd Article,
3e6r.net's 'Xtreme Tours' will be running the NY to Philly Bus Trips
to Shane Douglas' Reunion show. The show is scheduled for June 10th, 2005 at
the ECW arena. Our bus trip will be leaving from
the former 'Madhouse Of Extreme', The Elks Lodge (Queens
Blvd, Queens NY).
We are also considering a
Bus Trip from Brooklyn NY to the ECW Arena, if there is enough interest in it.
If you are interested in attending a Brooklyn bus trip for the event, just send
a quick email to .
We have received an
overwhelming interest in those who want to attend the bus trip. Therefore, we
have set an on sale date for Bus Trip reservations to be March 15, 2005. It is
first come, first serve and seats will be limited.
Mike Johnson at
WrestlingBusTrips will also run a bus trip from NYC (At The Manhattan Center)
with a stop in NJ. Details on both trips including departure time (rumored
around 5PM - 5:30PM), price and more will be available soon.
I need to stress that both
myself and Mike Johnson would love to have ten buses going to the ECW arena for
this memorable show. The problem is that the ECW Arena is going to be packed to
the max that night. And there is no way Philadelphia fans would allow
hundreds of seats being reserved for Bus Trip fans. Can you imagine these hardcore fans
that live around the ECW arena, not being able to attend because of hundreds of
fans coming in on buses! So seats will be limited.
Stay tuned for more
information on the trips.

WWE Offers Justin
Credible & The Sandman $5000 Each Not To Work Shane Douglas' Reunion Show
(PA) Joey Styles Confirmed; Bus Trip Confusion
Joey Styles, the voice of
ECW from 1994-2001, proudly announced last night that he will be at the Reunion show in
Philly. WWE is now visibly getting frustrated with Shane Douglas' plan to run
this 'Extreme' Reunion event. With the WWE version to take place two days later on PPV, they are
worried that Shane's show will take all the heat and momentum away from WWE's.
The big problem is that ECW was all about effort, the fans, busting your ass,
dedication, etc. WWE's version is all about 'The Benjamin's' ($$$$).
And $$$$ will be the way to
try and sway talent away from Shane's show. It is now being reported that Tommy
Dreamer, on behalf of WWE, is contacting former ECW stars not under WWE
contract. 3e6r.net has received from direct sources that The
Sandman and Justin Credible are two wrestlers who were offered $5000 not to
work Shane Douglas' Reunion show. Tommy Dreamer on behalf of World Wrestling
Entertainment made the offers to both. And we can also can report that both
men turned down the offers.
I have to give credit to
both for turning down the offer. If I was any former ECW wrestler not under
WWE contract, I would have the attitude like "I wasn't good for you before, now
you want to use me?."
This gives you an idea how
much WWE is taking Shane Douglas' reunion show seriously. More than that, it
shows you how much former ECW stars like Credible and Sandman are taking it
seriously too.
This Saturday, I myself will
be at the UXW event in Long Island NY, where several former ECW wrestlers will
appear, including The Sandman. We will get all the details on the WWE offers,
and report back here on the site.
There was some confusion
about the bus trips running for Shane Douglas' Reunion show 6/10 at the ECW arena.
3e6r.net's Xtreme Tours is running bus trips as well as Mike Johnson's
WrestlingBusTrips. On the hotline tonight, I will get into why both of us are
doing it, what locations have been chosen, and other tidbits of news.

Shane Douglas' Extreme Reunion
Show Announcement Shortly; Details On Date Change; NY/NJ Bus Trips
Planned
As we reported in our
Feb 18th
article, we
confirmed the rumors that former ECW heavyweight champion (and current
TNA agent) Shane Douglas was working on an reunion show to celebrate the history of Eastern Championship Wrestling (ECW) and how it took wrestling to the extreme. The show
originally was supposed to take place on Saturday June 11th at the ECW
arena; which happens to be the night before the rumored WWE version of ECW PPV
in NYC. Douglas' idea is to bring back the former stars who obviously not
under WWE contract, and have a show at the true home of ECW's history, Viking Hall.
And as we reported
exclusively on 3e6r.net, CZW owner John Zandig had the building booked
for 6/11. And because of major heat going back to XPW days, there was no way
John Zandig would negotiate a deal with Shane Douglas to use the ECW arena on
6/11.
(Note: Most of the details
below we already covered on our hotline (718-303-4444). However we discussed it
on the hotline simply because explaining the story was much easier to
describe and come across in audio rather than in print.)
As we discussed in depth on
our hotline, XPW having their exclusive lease back at the ECW arena a few years
back caused some major problems for CZW. Not only did this force CZW
to move their shows elsewhere, but the bullsh** caused by the Magee's of
the world with the PA State Athletic Commission towards XPW, led
to regulations being enforced on hardcore wrestling. Barbed wire
banned, light tubes, brawling into the crowd etc was enforced and actually
forced CZW to run shows in Dover Delaware. I have the PA State Athletic
Commission rules recorded onto an audio file which I can put on the
site if anyone is curious to hear them.
Add in Shane Douglas ripping
the CZW product back then, and sarcastic talks that CZW could 'rent'
the 'XPW' Arena from XPW for tremendous amounts of money,
left John Zandig very bitter. I know CZW's official statement said they
have storylines that would be affected if the 6/11 didn't take place. Even if
that were true, not in the least is that the reason he refused to negotiate his
thoughts about considering having the reunion event on 6/11.
Being a huge ECW fan, and
had supported XPW at the time, I can say I don't blame John Zandig for not
budging at all. However, I believe the CZW owner is interpreting Shane
Douglas' XPW involvement to be much more than just booker. Shane
Douglas himself (from what I know), never made any comments
or directly suggested CZW or any other fed had to pay thousands
of dollars to rent Viking Hall back then.
However a compromise has
been made. As of this writing, I can unofficially announce that that
the Reunion show will take place at Viking Hall. Shane Douglas who was one
of the biggest pieces of ECW's history, is the one who will make an official
statement on the show. It's only proper.
The show will take
place on Friday June 10th, rather than Saturday. We will post a detailed
update shortly on who has agreed to attend, who has been
invited, and other cool details planned for the show.
In addition to the show
taking place, 3e6r.net's own Xtreme Tours (as we ran the XPW & UXW
Bus Trips) have arranged with those running the event, that we will be running
NY bus trips to this event. If there is enough demand, we will add additional
buses, or even have one running from another area (such as New Jersey,
Pittsburgh for example).
As our bus trips have had in
the past, we will have preferred seating for the event, contests for cool ECW
prizes, DVD's and more!
For those that may work
Fridays and wish to go, not to worry. The event will start at 9PM, which will
allow plenty of time for tranportation.
NOTE: Mike Johnson
and WrestlingBusTrips.com will also be offering bus trips from the
Manhattan Center and The Rexplex to the event as well. We will keep everyone
informed of all transportation trips available and post additional info
shortly.
Once the official
announcement is made for the event, we will start accepting reservations for the
bus trip. We will also take suggestions and requests from all of you as to
additional areas we may run trips from.
Keep posted right here on
3e6r.net!

Exclusive Details On 'Extreme' Reunion Show @ ECW Arena 6/11 & Its 'Ultra Violent'
Problem
In our Thursday
article, we reported rumors that
former ECW heavyweight champion (and current TNA agent) Shane Douglas
is working on an reunion show to celebrate Eastern Championship Wrestling (ECW) and how it took wrestling to the extreme. The show is supposed to take place on
Saturday June 11th at the ECW arena; which happens to be the night before
the rumored WWE version of ECW PPV in NYC. Douglas' idea is to bring back the
former stars who obviously not under WWE contract, and have a show at the original homw of ECW events, Viking Hall.
Since the story broke,
wrestling fans especially here in the Northeast having been a buzz about the
idea. Even though I believe this should have occurred two years ago,
I looked into the story.
I can attest to everyone
that the story is 100% true. However, we also uncovered much more to this
story, and we will have exclusive details about it on our hotline tonight. There
are huge problems with this show coming off. Yesterday we mentioned that
CZW has the building reserved for June 11th which is true. We also discussed the
WWE factor, and problems that could surface from it.
However, there
are additional problems with this show coming off and one huge monkey
wrench thrown into The Franchise's idea of the reunion show. It's an
interesting story especially how some that will get involved may have to take
sides on the matter, or find an 'Extreme'ly large peace pipe.
Remember, our hotline is
free (718) 303-4444. This isn't any ploy to get you to join an Elite membership
or pay 900# charges. Truth is, analyzing it over the hotline is much better told
then typing it on wrestling - news.com.
We'll update tonight after
11PM EST. Note: If you receive an operator message that 'All Circuits are busy',
that means the maximum number of callers (25) are listening to the line. Wait a
bit then try calling again. I compare it to a website that reaches its maximum
bandwidth.

Shane Douglas
Planning 'Extreme' Reunion Show At ECW Arena 6/11? Details Inside
There's a rumor going around
that former ECW heavyweight champion and current TNA agent Shane Douglas
is working on an 'Extreme' reunion show on June 11th at the ECW
arena. Douglas' idea is to bring back the former stars who obviously
not under WWE contract, and have a show at the original home to ECW events, Viking Hall. The
problem with the rumors are that Combat Zone Wrestling has a show scheduled
for June 11th at the arena. A second problem is that WWE owns the copyrights to
the ECW name. Therefore, if the show were to come off at all, they
would have to be very careful how to advertise it. Especially since you would
think a DVD of the show would be produced.
Not to mention since the much
rumored WWE version of an ECW PPV is scheduled a day later (June 12th), Vince
McMahon would probably be 'Extremely' ticked at this show happening.
When more information is available,
we will post it on the site. With many of the former ECW stars
wrestling next weekend for UXW in Long Island, we will get first hand
comments on the rumors.
